Over 75,000 Hits for ChicagoismynewBlog! New Milestone!

Just in time for my actual birthday which falls on June 9th, ChicagoismynewBlog! gets to celebrate a milestone by surpassing 75,000 hits!  I think this deserves a cake in celebration.  Thanks to all who have visited ChicagoismynewBlog! in the past year.  My mid-year resolution is to be more persistant with creating posts and finding more construction projects to blog about.  Even though Chicago’s new construction projects have plummeted, there are still plenty of buildings going up!

This view is taken from the roof deck of a new listing that I’m partnering up with another @properties agent, Jodi Faulkner, in University Commons.  University Commons stands on five blocks that, for over 75 years, was home to Chicago’s South Water Market.  The developer, Enterprise Companies, did an amazing job transforming these once dilapidated marketplaces into a vibrant neighborhood.  Kudos to them!
