Construction progress on “The Ledge” at the Sears Tower!

Posted by ChicagoismynewBlog! on June 26, 2009

By the looks of this recent picture by jc5680 on Skyscraperpage, “The Ledge” is progressing nicely and should be giving everyone a whole lot of vertigo in the near future.  Originally, it was reported that “The Ledge” would be opening up to the public in June.  Well, unless the workers can finish the project in five days, I have to believe there was some sort of delay.

When completed, “The Ledge” will give the Sears Tower quite the advantage in bringing people in over the John Hancock Center.  After all, a 103 floor drop with 50 mile views is pretty cool.  The Sears Tower Skydeck is open from 9am – 10pm and tickets are $14.95 for anyone 12 and up.
